<description>Another attempt to the Bowl this Mornin for torture laps that make me smile. Somethin weird about that. Yesterday, my feeble attempt led me straight back to the house where I met up with Nikki and toured for a few hours behind the house in the Greenbelt with the mutts...very deep back there! No skiin, just touring!
Looks like a Bluebird day...gotta go!
See ya'll when I see ya'll,

<description>I swear by all that is holy in this land that I wept sweet tears of bitter dispair at the vile blight that did fall across the land on yester year day and spoilst the joys of the earnest of heart and merry of spirit into a long endured torturous road of hardship and sorrow. My heart wilst ever bleed for you and honor you unto mine ancestors.

<description>what a day!!! The Shredder left early to earn some turns before volunteering with Adaptive Sports at Alpine, I slept another hour or so and checked the snow report. word on the street was 18" overnight - nothin' to sneeze at. the girls were turned around for not having tire chains (VW with 4x steel studs?!) so they missed any D.P. chances but went back to fulfill duties at Adaptive. the day's activities were cancelled due to excellent weather and they hit the one chair that was operating, as long as it was operating. i think they got in 5 runs. from there, it was one long epic trying to get back home. crawling traffic, closed roads, and bad bad vis made it a challenge.

in the mean time i picked up H. Tater at 0815, assuming we'd miss the first chair swindle and get to endure sketchy drivers. we too were turned around, long before reaching the resort or even anything skiable. whatever. spent the rest of the day fartin' around the house. geared up to make my own tele-skis (?!) and dorkin' around with GIS software. and eating griddle cakes, eggs, and bacon washed down with Blue Ribbon.

long story short, the girls (and Smithers) were stuck in the mountains pondering how to get home. other less/more fortunate ones were stuck in town pondering how to get up to the snow.

at least the truck's all loaded for D.P. tomorrow. better start workin' on my sick cough...
