this is good. i'd put my $$ behind this project and certainly ride it bunch. with a little route finding and boot packing, alot of it sorta goes already, but that's enough to keep 98% of potential riders from ever even trying it. more paths = more riders = more healthier people, less autos used for commuting, more people getting out into their surroundings who're likely to take an interest in their community.

Hey Carebear you should post here, since you are probably a better cyclist than me (and better than half of the goobers that post here). Or maybe you do and I don't know your handle.

There's a bike trail in sacramento that goes from old sac to folsom...about 24 miles and pretty damn cool minus the thick air, sounds like this might be a wee bit longer! Kudos to Carrie! I'll be down to ride it if I'm still alive!!! Wha?
I'm tripin out to the Mt shasta area this weekend for some mtbin in Redding and some bug-eyed white water kayakin in Dunsmir with an old roomie of mine...this guy's a funjunkie too. Should be a good trip minus the poisonous oak leaves, baby rattle snakes (might be to early for that), and the 100000 degree temps in Redding. It'll be nice to get back up the hill to shasta. Might even boot-hike not pack to the snow line and then skin up too the lamerian hide out and ski with some white robes, kill some goats, and drink blood...I hear it's customary!
It's like ridin on marbles in peavine...still fun though!
