the man is on fire!!! put the Nooner on a single speed and look at what's happened, all "tude!"

just keepin' you honest on the shop inventory, pal. you can keep the chain and cable housing, but you're gonna have to settle up on the bars. that Easton 1" rise is pretty nice still. we'll handle that off-line.

riding tomorrow sounds good, probably a mid-morning effort. bring Nooner to his knees on the dirt road to the top of Thomas Ck. then over to Jones and Galena and back to Whites and east on down to the end of the trail sounds really good to me. wait, maybe we should just start at the bottom of whites, go up and over to Jones and down Thomas and back down via Whites. let's talk soon.

Well, well, well, I guess there's know more love in the world of bicycles, parts, and friends giving! HaHaHaHa! Just kiddin hombre, I should have at least picked up the bill last night which still wouldn't have covered your's and Amanda's generosity. You now I'll get you back...my brain was just a lil wacked out yesterday from to much joe and allen wrenchin.
The mountain honey was railin on her trek with a broken fork (brake stiffinerthinamajigger broken in half). I think I might have an old Quadra 21R at my mommy's house for her until she gets a new machine. She's a worthy trail rider, just needs new quipment.
My horizons are broad when it comes to beats shitkicken-pal. If my ass involuntarily shakes, the dogs start tap dancin, the head sways, or the boulders for shoulders start dipin like pistons on a race car, then IIIIIII like it!
I ain't walked shit in Peavine, never had, and never will...well maybe never!
Don't try and prove me wrong by takin me up those steep ass fireroads neither, ain't havin it.
On that note let's ride 2morrow. The bike rode great today, had 2 tweak on it a bit, still need to mess with fork a lil. Besides that, It's a dream bike motha-bitches.
PS - thanks for da supersize wolfman, get your ass out and ride with us 2morrow!

No shit. I can't help but wonder how anyone has the stones to charge money for a drunken rally through traffic. The winners of the alleycats aren't the fittest riders, but the ones who are willing to jet out across a red light without slowing down. Why reputable sponsors would touch that with a 19.5 meter pole is beyond me.

That and I'm not convinced it's a good thing from an urban bike access/advocacy standpoint. Can we really ride like that and still maintain any kind of bitching rights when one of our buddies bet's plastered under a HumVee?

that video reminds me of trying to get Talouse's collar off without releasing the buckle.

hey yeah, Nooner spent 7 hours building up his new frame yesterday. he's pillaged my stash of handlebars, old chains, brake cable housing, a front hub skewer... wore out a drill bit, and compromised my garage speakers with hip hop when i wasn't around to check that. oh well, i'll send him the bill. he did a good job with the construction project though, the new bike sure looks great. he's out woo-ing some mountain woman on a trail ride today. let's see if he can keep up on his 2:1, if he confesses to walking any hills.

Happy Friday,
Japhy rider

ps- that 24 hour scalley cat thing is tomorrow. fun as it sounds, i'm just soooo weary of getting hit by a car (or hitting a car!) that i might go on an entrada instead. Shredder's back in town, hopefully she'll join in the fun of a nice long bicycle ride in the hills.
