…Trails off the Beaten Path!

Sorry this post is so late in comin’ to ya’lls. GBG and I met up with Stubby, Gabe, and Aaron at the BC in Truckee last Friday. From there we made sure to have all the essentials for a four and a half hour ride…coffee and a 12 pack plus of PBR.

Made our way over to the foothills and performed the ritualistic strippin’ naked in the woods to don our super hero uniforms and the on the spot bike tweakin,’ thanks for no tighty-blackies this time Griss…hahahahaha!

Anyhow, we found gold up in them there mountains. We started off with some pioneer style ridin,’ singletrack climbin,’ tight-windy-rolly-fast-through-the-trees-downhill…”Hallelujah,” we said! We even came across an ancient self-propelled roller coaster. Check it out!

So after the adrenaline-buzz from the ridin’ faded and the ride came to a halt, before I could even sit down in the dirt and relax, someone was handing out mountain sodas with a red, white, and blue label. Made me feel very patriotic…Americaaaaaaa, Fuck Yeah!

These hombres from the high Sierras are worhty companions to ride bikes with. This ride we did was somewhat of a prelude to the 420 ride (april 20 you f–in stoners), which will be twice as long. Yes, comin’ soon, so get those chamois’ a marinating in habanero sauce, cause it should be one hell of a ride…need to clean up the ol’ Bluuuur for this one!

That ride will be worthy of playin’ hooky!

That looks like a really cool ride over the ditch water aquaduct thingee. Can’t make the 420 ride as I have scheduled a couple of other scientist dorks to head into the field with me and can’t bail on them now. I will be spending the day hiking around the Walker River so not such a bad way to earn a living.

I need to see that new Vulture ride soon so let’s get together and ride soon nooner.

Last Fri. rocked! It’s always good to ride new trail. Mikey N. fu*%ing rocks the onespeed like he’s been doing it for years. What a sandbagging a-hole!

Is Sat. the official ride with Sean M.? I need details, I.E. time and day of BBQ, time and day of ride. I want to go do the 420 ride with Gregg and the other Truckee Homies, but was going to skip it to ride with Sean M.

Wolfy, what are the details on the BBQ and bike ride Sat.?
Huck Tater-tots, you bet, let’s get out and ride soon…the emigrant was ride worthy the other day, we can even link it up to loyds again - we did get some sno, but it seems to have melted the same day we got it.
Nooner’s my a name, and a sandbaggin is a my game sucka - allways fun to ride bikes with you GBG - there’s a huge gap jump by the reservoirs (wont mention were, so know one steals your glory) that’s worthy of A TBS photo shoot - has your name all over it Geek!

S McG is hitting town Friday afternoon 4/20.

BBQ will be @ my house! I’m getting a new grill so nothing but dry tofu so it doesn’t get greasy. Do we want to invite the ladies or suggest that they have book club night and make is a saussage fest? Everyone will be required to arrive by bicycle. Those coming from out of town will be allowed to park here, but you’ll have to make a beer run on your bike.

The GBG residence doesn’t count as out of town.

I’ll put up an official invitation soon.

F#@k the idea of sausage fest. Those of us that are single sorta like being with the ladeez. I killed a particularly wiley tofudabeast on Everest last week and hopefully I can grill it up on your new hibachi.

Sooo, the BBQ and ride is on Sat?
I’m probably going to race Sun. If that ends up being the case I’ll skip the 4-20 ride with Stubby. Ride my geared bike with you guys Sat. and go tear it up on the 1spd Sun.
