ON A LIGHTER NOTE
some road warriors with AZ roots went out on a limb to visit our adobe and shred the trails on Peavine. Stephen “the most widely sighted Coconino rider ever” and his super cool single speeding wife Lex got a good sample of our local trails, and probably more than an ear-full of how rad i think riding bikes around here is.
thanks for stopping in to visit! we’ll look forward to news about the rest of their biking and winery road trip. meeting friends of friends, riding bikes and sharing beers and tall tales of misadventure - the network grows! late Sunday morning they rolled out of town with a growler of Risky Biscuit barley wine and a belly full of the Pnuematic’s walnut waffles. now how’s that for local flavor?

So it turns out the Croc was not killed. Yeah! He was shot at (2 bullets fired) but he didn’t have any “bullet holes in his hide,” and was unharmed. The zoo bought him from a resident that had him as a pet - nice pet, I thought Toolie was difficult.
Did I mention that this post is Classic Bacon Strip! Disgusting, a bit crass AND shred related with photos.
