Shredmore can’t afford to lose more flesh. I was actually surprised it has all it’s fingers still! Assuming it started out with ten/ten. Although I didn’t see it’s feet. But maybe he originally had two extra legs and three more arms and has weedled it down to what we see now with it’s own idiom of reckshredgnarlitude.

ps- judging from the podling pic Shredmore posted months ago, and the compsite digitally enhanced sketch of her/his last thought of resemblance, the gud Doctor probably has longer fingers than that (before the amputation), possibly claws, and would definately be capable of regenerating significant body mass in the event of loss of a limb… or a tail.
