Well, Had a great day for TdN 2007! Started off with a little roll down to Waldens for breakfast, some retail therapy @ the Gooch where V-Nasty told me my helmet makes my head look tiny, and some fruit buying @ the Farmer’s market!
Then on to the races!

The excitement came from our very own Jwox racing the Masters race. J was in the main pack Riding hard. Every time he came through the chicane to Arlington he’d look back and hit it hard so I got a bunch of shots of the back of his head.

At 7 laps he said he looked around and realized there are about 7 better sprinters than me in the pack so why should I stick around? He started bridging out and ran the rest of the race solo. A good show bro!! It’s always more fun to see the races when there’s one of your homies fighting it out.

Then I was walking back to my bike and noticed a dude in a Coconino Shirt. It wasn’t JR, it wasn’t Smithers, so I figured I’d stop him and say hi. He’s a recent transplant from Flagstaff by way of Elko and comes recommended by the illustrious Dr. Shredmor himself. As shredders and skiers, he and Chris should integrate nicely into our little roving band of itinerant dirtbags and feral nerds.
We headed back the the Saint Lawrence Street Lounge where Trent Fixed us Wisconsin style Brats! Nothing wrong with that. Smithers and V-Nasty were quite entertaining as well.
That’s about it. peace out!

great work Jwox! i’d have been happy to bet $5 on you, had i been there. as it is, i was bummed to miss out on the Klunker Klassic. work’s got me caged in an instrumentation trailer, no windows, breathing processed air and crunchin’ numbers. glad to hear you guys are doing what you do best back home, and havin’ fun.
