Bike Riding St. George Style

[?]

goosberryHey all,

I’ve been running low on the radar for a while, busy with school, work and wedding planning. But, I have been riding. Last weekend I was in Southern Utah enjoying some Slickrock. Here is a link to some of the photos I took.

Enjoy.

Awesome! Good riding and a great way to spend your last moments of freedom! Is the big day this weekend? Congrats and best wished in any case.

Yea, it was a really fun trip. Those trails are great.

Yep, the wedding is Saturday. Thanks for the good thoughts. We’re then going to hit Costa Rica for three weeks. After that we will probably head to Oregon to see my Sis and we are planning on stopping by Reno on the way. I’ll keep you informed.

Thanks for editting that post so the pic shows up. I wanted to do that, but didn’t want to spend the time it would take me to figure out how to do it.

last bachelor rides are great! it’s super cool that you got to shred fantastic trails and rally with good buddies.

recall, the last bachelor ride in Sedona, the morning of may 26, 2001? i believe it was Reedster, Vulture, Greg H. and Greg G., Scarey Jerry, myself and ??? went out from the house to Red Rock Crossing, Temple, Llama, etc. i had to cut out and ride road back to the house to have enough time to shower, put on my tux, and get down to the old ranch. Just made it though, and the rest is history.

Mark, We’ll be doing a short one of those Saturday morning. I don’t know when the Shredder is coming down, but it would be awesome if you guys were able to join us.

I’ve been thinking about this post and the previous one. If one were to spend one’s last weekend of freedom riding a naked race in Gunnison, and one’s junk happened to become mangled due to some “one in a million” accident, would the bride-to-be call off the show?

i suppose if said junkless fellow couldn’t consumate the vows…

And it’s that kind of thinking that is keeping me up at night. Well, not really, but I’d be pretty disappointed if I couldn’t consummate the marriage. I’ll save the naked racing until later in the marriage.

I’m not sure but I thinking some of those photos were on land adjacent to a plot that my Mother-in-law and extended family owns. They live in the St. G area. I’ll be heading down in August to do some riding in that area. Thanks for the photos. It made me look forward to the trip even more.
