Did you say, “TRAIN?” This morning the ten day Truckee forcast has snow for the next ten days!!! Daaaamn son! Where you training at? The moon!?

How was Mt Rose? I had a stiff neck, so I didn’t do shit.

Gonna go over and visit Pyrofloptic’s Ladyfiend and steal his trainer…

Proletariat bowl was ok. Softish chop with nice sections of wind load. I need some beefier skis for shit like that. My Carbon Surfs are too flighty.

Now that you mand up and converted to onespeed, you should take the bike-tube-wrap off you chainstay… you don’t need the extra weight for the 24 hour race!!! Hey, I’m nota capin’ on you, just trying to help a brotha out!!!

Possible dawn patrol tomorrow, well, let’s see how much wine I drink tonight…

i like the drive train, though, gotta admit, the innertube-chain slap protector doesn’t add anything. the Old Pueblo is looking like it’ll be a bunch of fun!

I like it. I think I’ll keep it. I might some day convert back to gears. I don’t want to have to hunt around for another old tube…

Actually I should get some of those lexan strips for the inside of the chainstays. Those Panaracer Rampage tires have rubbed the paint off both sides!

chain slap is a sign of shifting

on the topic of rub-age, as long as the offending force continues to act on the steel, no rust will accumulate.

it’s your bike. ride it and be well.

    see you on the trail.

I like it too, I have one on my Santa Cruz.
So hey, A 32 x 21 might make you cramp up with over spinning. If you put one or two higher, would that mess up the whole system as far as chain and tension goes. I might have some extra chain laying around somewhere if you wanna fiddle faddle with it some… wait, you need less chain, ooops. Shows you what I know!!!

Off to ski the B/C… damn I’m a poet and didn’t know it!

    I thought about that…

    #1 it’s a 29er so this should be about what I’m used to on a 26er.

#2 I can go up or down by 2 teeth and match it with 1 half link. So I could get a 19t cog as backup.

    #3 I forgot what # 3 was.

    I didn’t think about that…

#1 the skiing up on Tamarack was off the hook… Utah like snow, anywhere from 12″ to 18″ maybe even two feet in places… however, it was so dry and light, I ended up sinking down to the bottom and touching hard pack. Took two runs to figure out how to ski it… fast… last two were great. Four laps with Smokey. Proliteriate (Did I spell that right? Who gives a shit!) being the last, and by far the best lap!

#2 I forgot your bike was a Two-Niner… Handle business wolfman!

    #3 I forgot what #3 was too.
