or… he paid FULL PRICE for the 60 to 80 dollar lift tickets that ski resorts here get away with, or…

blablabla - J.r.’s had too much fun. cut him offf

on the other hand, i had a rad apre work ride on trail home right here in northwest Reno, then rallying to my local microbrew pub, introducing myself to a few nonwilderness advocates, seeing old friends, and asking the master brewer what he though carrots would do to a beer recipe - sounds like a real recovery drink to me.

i love the Great Basin, of which the Lake Tahoe Basin is one really small part. i can’t wait to ride my bike all over it’s high country again this summer.

    see you in the mountains.

doesn’t seem to make much sense w/o the picture… technology fails us from time to time.

    There we go…

Haven’t paid full price for a lift ticket since… Hmmm. That’s a tough one. oh well. I liked the article in Mountain Gazette about poaching Vail in Co. You can be sure I wrote a letter to MJF standing up against the anti-cubicleite sentiments in that article. Since I’ve been in a cube I’ve done more pre, during and post work skiing, riding and beer drinking… Including taking my dad up Incline Peak for his first Tahoe Dawn Patrol yesterday.

Would have liked to have made it to Cameron’s cage match, but was meeting the fam for dinner. Howd it go?

We took the winch off the bronco. Gonna get that thing gone this week. So, you know… Last CALL!

it was a very agreeable conversation. You have to appreciate anyone who is willing to drive 2 hours each way to hear something directly from the horse’s mouth. My appreciation to everyone who rallied and showed up at the last minute. I’m confident that if I had asked for others to be there, someone else would have showed up and would have been a completely different scene.
