While Nooner and the McDeez R rocking Downieville and The Yuba, Barrett and I are planning on riding Geiger, Spooner and Mt. Rose on the road. Sound’s fucking miserable if you ask me. But it also sounds like it might be helpful if I plan to not suckdonkeyballs @ the Cascade Cream Puff in June. You never know…
I know Gris had mentioned wanting to do this ride. So if you think you can ride slow enough, please join us!

are you sure you don’t want to do a fun, challenging, car exhaust free trail ride? the best training for enduro trail riding is more enduro trail riding! either way, the Puff is a sick. along with 18 thousand feet of climbing in 100 miles, it’s 18 thousand feet of descending technical singletrack. you’re just as beat up at the bottom as you are at the top! i’m sure that with all that sausage fighting you’re doing these days, you’ll be in rare form.

Call me, I’d love to go on this suffer-fest of a road ride. That’s what I need to. Japhy tells me there are still openings in the Puff and I’m contmeplating that pain.
If I wasn’t giving birth that weekend, I’d sure as hell be defending my title as DFL. If there are still spots available, you boys better man up and enjoy the festivities that make the Puff so awesome. One of the coolest events, even with the sick riding, that I’ve ever been too - and I’ve gone to participate or play 5 or 6 times now. I’d be there this year, but… NEXT YEAR!

Well Wolfy, did you go battle it out in all that wind? I hunkered down and worked on projects at the house. I’m going to get some one speed rides in on Peavine this week and do a big effort on Thur., either an out and back on Red Rock Road or the three passes. Plus I’ll do the Sat. Morn World Championships with all those road weenies.

We did. Spooner was a bitch. Worse than a bitch actually, but we did it.
I dropped chain halfway to Sand Harbor and had to search around for the quicklinks. Lowco2 rode to meet us @ rose, but turned back due to cold. I had to call in sag from Sky Tavern cause my hands were freezing. But it was a helluva ride.
