a day in the life?
Keystone Canyon trailhead departure at 0730 or 0800, this time we had a “harmonic convergence” of just 3 single speeds. Climbing the local hill (if you call Peavine a hill, it’s about a 4,000′ climb from the house to the summits), a nice 2 hour+ effort from the house.

Final diagnosis: Large tear of the lateral miniscus with no other damage. YAY! Some people rip their pants when they squat down, I rip cartilage. How’s that for extreme? Thanks fo Smella for coming to rescue me and taking care of me all afternoon AND evening, and Rob for hobbling me down the hill, and D.LaP for hanging with me in the CandyAss Ward and the Adkins for bringing me pizza.

Cool meating
Hey all,
Just thought I would throw out the idea of riding to the Great Basin on Tuesday, 4/22 for a pre-Cool meating. I plan to ride a mtn bike and do a little side trip up Keystone and out Evans before continuing to Sparks. Planning to have beer in hand @ 7:05.
