Nevada Wilderness Project Scores One for Gold Butte!
Congrats to our friends @ the Nevada Wilderness Project for getting the “the Gold Butte National Conservation Area Act” introduced to Congress last week. I know they’ve been working on getting legislation for Gold Butte for quite a while. Check out the post on the issue over @ weethump and post a comment to show your support.

Hello Bacon Strippers – thanks for the nod to the Nevada Wilderness Project, and even better, Gold Butte. Things are looking up for this area… I’m heading down there next week to see the petroglyphs, rock formations, hopefully some bighorn sheep, etc. If it’s half a gorgeous as the photos I’ve seen… whoa. Thanks again.
