I know I was tempting fate by strapping a brand new helmet cam on Gris for it’s virgin run, but call it a trial by gristle. Fortunately the cam, and Gris, made it through unscathed.

That’s so fucking rad. I have to admit by the time it was getting close for me to race I felt like shit. I was tired, hungry and stressed out. I almost decided not to race and then I decided I’ll race but not worry about the camera. Then I saw Wolfy with those big puppy dog eyes and knew I couldn’t let him down. It was time to “nut up”. Now I can’t wait to do it again.
great coverage! found myself wanting to hurl when Griz busted out front through the grassy turns, pretty much where i felt woozy through the first 4 or 5 laps. the last 3+ laps i’d settled into something i could sustain, and got laped by the fast guys – but it was Fun anyways
I kept catching myself lifting my head to try and see farther…
Nice race Shawn, good course, schweet camera footage! So many possibilities – the next filming should be of Tallcan.tv, or maybe a motorcycle ride over the pass on 431, or maybe some knee-droppin’ in the pow!

Thanks for filming this! Nice pass on the first lap, I was going cross-eyed at that point and knew I had charged out in front too hard.
