St. Anthony shepherds us through Southern Nevada
First of all, thanks a TON to the Coy’s of Cave Creek, AZ. Their cheerful hospitality, welcoming stinky and cranky riders into their home post race and dropping a pizza bomb on the team really makes the trip.

Second of all, DAMN that was a fun trip! LowCO2 and I had a great time riding as a dual team at the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. That is way harder than i thought. It’s a lot of riding and not nearly enough resting.

Nooner was an inpromptu solo team when his partner bailed out due to dubious medical concerns that didn’t stop him from SKIING POWDER!

And JR and SAS rocked another 2 man team with the burningman camper as a warm base of ops.

SUPER AWESOME to hang with the Vulture! I got to ride my last lap with the guy who build my bike pacing me in. Awesome dude, awesome ride! If you’re looking for a SICK custom steel mountain bike, Wade is noe taking orders and burning chromoly again!

This event is hands down the best mountain bike race I’ve been to. And granted that isn’t really all that many, but the environment, people, format, and SINGLETRACT can not be beat. I’ll be back next year for sure.

  2. Nice vid and pics and it sounds like the heinous anus wasn’t flowing too much in the car ride either. I have not been too that race yet but it looks like I need to go check it out at least once. Next year? Great job job ya’all.Oh yeah…………LEE!

Hey Wolfy, greeting from Kobe, yes I live in Osaka but commute to this Bryant town every day. It takes 3.5 hours to and from and I prefer Iverson actually. I heard from Wade the Hagewashi (vulture in Japanese) the other day and grad to know that he had a great time with you Bacon Vultures. It seems to be good race with friends, very nice! Thanks for shering nice pix & Vid. Now Wade is working on my new Vulture Monster Cyclo project. so keep eyes on Vulture blog, cheers!

That video was pretty good. The almost crash there at the end was a fantastic save. I’ve done the same thing a few times, sometimes with much worse results..

Glad you guys had a good time out there. Maybe next year I’ll be ready to give it another go.
