Novel idea for the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey
I’ve got an idea. A few are into it, but we need 12 to make it happen.
The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey usually works with 2 vans and 12 runners who each run segments of the 178 mile route around Tahoe, carson and Vagina City.
My idea is 12 riders, 6 bicycles and no gasoline at all. Divide the team into pairs. Each pair takes turns riding, and running switching off riding the bike or running. Obviously this idea isn’t fully baked cause I’m not sure what you’d do when neither team member is required to run a section. Theoretically, only one rider needs to ride at a time, so maybe we need 12 team members and only 11 bikes so that there’s always one man running. Who knows, this kind of shit doesn’t make sense to me unless I’m drinking beer. Point is, if you’re in, post a comment and if we get enough we’ll make it happen.

Fantastic idea! Yes!
I could be talked into it. What we need are 6 tandem bikes so that one person could ride it alone, if needed. I’ve also got a trailer which I could use to haul gear.
