Here are the finalized dates for the 2010 Cross Series.

There are some fast racers coming out of the wood works this year so its going to be a great year to race and watch cross. If you haven’t tried it borrow a cross or mountain bike and come out to a race. In fact I will wave any first time racers entry fee. (You will still need a $10 one day icense if you don’t have one)

New venues to include a Squaw Valley race and an Indian Hills race in Carson City hosted by Alta Alpina.

10/23 Clayton Middle School (dist. champ. sneak preview!)

10/30 Indian Hills – Hosted by Alta Alpina

“In a Friday interview, Andy Chapman, director of tourism for the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, said the NLTRA and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority — the business associations of Tahoe’s North and South shores — are waiting for the inspectors arrival sometime next week and will showcase a proposed race route starting off in South Lake Tahoe before shooting riders around the lake for one and a half laps.”

“Within the route proposal, Chapman has said previously that the resort not to be selected as the finishing area — Northstar or Squaw — will be selected to be the starting area for stage two of the tour.”
